A little bit of hope goes a long way

Many New Creation members have had the pleasure of working with Pentecostal Bishop Frank Allen and the great work of Hope Charitable Services in its many outreaches to the poor of Hampton Roads and beyond.
 

Here is what the did in 2014:

 

HOPE CHARITABLE SERVICES Annual Operations GOODS SHIPPED THROUGH OUR CHARITABLE SUPPLY CHAIN:

Report-2014

21 forty-foot containers filled with relief goods shipped to third world countries (four filled with

assorted medical and relief

supplies and 17 filled with solid wood furniture)

  •   12 tractor-trailer loads of furniture to Appalachia

  •   4 tractor-trailer loads of furniture to Native Americans in Southeastern North Carolina

  •   4 tractor-trailer loads of furniture to rural poverty in Alabama 

2 tractor-trailer loads of assorted relief supplies to North Dakota Indians

3 tractor trailer loads of building supplies Portsmouth and Southeastern North Carolina

1 load of hygiene items and cleaning supplies to Church of God Homes for Children, divided

between Concord, NC and Sevierville, TN

581,841 pounds of food (Hampton Roads, Eastern Shore, Middle Peninsula and North Eastern North

Carolina)

180,000 pounds of clothing and household goods (Hampton Roads, Eastern Shore, Middle

Peninsula and North Eastern North Carolina)

68,543 packs of diapers given to needy children and disabled adults in Southeastern Virginia

Each month, HOPE provides food or other household items to more than 9,000 needy individuals

 

in over 3,200 homes across our region"

75 Large Household Gift Baskets for Retired Ministers (valued at $80.00 each)

15,360 Emergency Cold Weather Wool Blend Blankets distributed for to the poor

DIRECT SERVICE THROUGH OUR URBAN OUTREACH CENTER IN THE INNER CITY OF PORTSMOUTH:
